Make sure truck has enough fuel to get to shipper and then to fuel stop after. Arrive at shipper half a tank or less
Call shipper verify p/u number, date&time
Call shipper - inquire about on site/street parking
Call shipper- inquire how early you can check in before appt.time
Call shipper - verify address
Prepare trip sheet/seal record
Call stevens for weather master/security talk/etc..
Check weather
Send in arrived at shipper
Make trip plan to receiver
Call receiver - verify appt., date&time&if drop & hook
Call receiver- inquire about on site/street parking
Call receiver- inquire how early you can check in before appt.time
Call receiver- verify address
Find nearest truckstop to receiver
If drop&hook, inspect trailer& adjust tandems
Check seal numbers against the bills
If multiple stops complete seal record
Make sure address on bills match load assn.

Check weather
Send in loaded call
Get weighed if necessary
Send eta to receiver to dm
Ask dm for preplan day before arriving to final
Morning of delivery send eta to final again & ask for preplan
If possible, fill trailer full of fuel
